Rose Windmiller is Associate Vice Chancellor, Government Relations & St. Louis College Readiness Initiatives at Washington University in St. Louis. She is responsible for the university’s state and local public policy agenda as well as the university’s charter school sponsorship compliance efforts. Her areas of expertise include local and state issues, tax policy, public transit, and higher education.
Ms. Windmiller serves as Washington University’s representative to the Independent Colleges & Universities of Missouri (ICUM), the St. Louis Regional Chamber, the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education, and various other boards and commissions. In 2014 she was appointed by former Governor Jay Nixon to the Ferguson Commission and served as co-chair of Forward Through Ferguson. In 2018, Governor Mike Parson appointed Ms. Windmiller to the Bi-State Development Board of Commissioners.
Rose Windmiller received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and her Masters of Arts in Public Administration from St. Louis University.
